Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009 Together We Join

During momentary of time, many transformations occur, its either bad thing or good things. There are also some advancement occurred in the online world. As we go along the way, we also enter the world of blogging and start to join some contest. Last year, we joined the contest cebu seo contest and captivating Capiz contest as individual entry, but unfortunately we lost the cebu seo contest and luckily in captivating capiz, I won the contest. It’s really a great experienced because in the competition I definitely met new friends and even foes. It’s been a astonishing experienced as we go along the world of different bloggers. For the first time, in Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009 contest, Me (clawed) and Aiza (gurlie) join the contest with a team name “magkasama tayo” which mean we are together.

Actually at first we heard some gossip that there will be an interschool Capiz SEO contest. With this considering, my friend and I decided to join that contest as a group. We name our group as Magkasama Tayo. But then, why did we name our group as magkasama tayo? As we all know that Magkasama means “together”. We were together as classmates since 2nd year college, and we both qualified for the 3rd year in the same school as working student. I was the first one who started to blog. But then later on, Gurlie was persuaded to blogging because she learn that she can really make money online while enjoying blogging.

Now, as we participated the competition called Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009 as together, our entry is not yet visible to Google but it’s fine for now, we have two month to work on with this contest and we will try our best to do what we can. I believe that we can do this things better if we will do it together.

Whew that was great! I won the competition and I am really happy. I've been busy with our thesis proposal the other day and since the class opens this week, a lot of work were assigned to me and this post is just a fast post about my success on bleuken's competition. My award website was also delayed but thank you to Bleuken that he immediately give me the new and first paid domain after they have discussed the matter to Kyubz. And the winnings result is:

Taxi in Captivating Capiz

Actually this report is not that amazing to talk about here in my blog but it is worth to mention it since it is still about the captivating Capiz. Do you know that there's already a TAXI in Capiz? (I have read it from capiznon.wordpress.com :) ). It seems that this is a first for the native of Capiz since from the start, the city of Roxas and municipalities of Capiz are into tricycle. For foreign readers, tricycle are motorcycles attached with a passenger body making it to have three wheels and making it to be capable of being a commuters public vehicle in the province.

You know what so nice with this taxis in the province of Capiz? It's body painting was customized to make it like an official taxi of the city and you know what, the slogan that you can see beyond the taxi was the battle cry of the province which is "captivating Capiz". It is really an exclusive and one of its kind in the Visayas region. See the picture of these vehicle which I took from capiznon.wordpress.com (thank you to this blog). It shows pictures of sea foods, beaches, church and government hall of the place. Simply nice!

Last Week in Captivating Capiz - Still Hoping

My entry to the captivating Capiz contest falls on the 2nd rank when I query it. I have one week left to fully make it to the top. But I don't have anything on my sleeves to use as my ace for this challenge. It is really tough, I thought it will be a simple competition of skills in blogging but I was wrong. There's a lot of things that I should study before I get fully understand the workaround of this contest. If in case I lose, I will wait for another same captivating Capiz contest so I could harness my skills on this kind of tasks online.

Well, if I will win at least 2nd prize then I will buy some Capiz lanterns or sets of Capiz shells so I could put it on my living room. It will be a romantic design and of course its for my honey. So eventhough that the defeat is almost inevitable because I have the feeling that the entry on number one for the captivating Capiz will stay on top until 26th of October. My theory is that whoever stays on top next week, specifically by Friday will be the winner of this contest. If the top 1 stays on top up to said day, it will be giving-up time for me. For now, I am still hoping and trying to take over the current top notch with all my strength and make-up kit. Joke! :)

My Captivating iGoogle

Yes this is how my iGoogle looks! This is what I have did during my free time today and after I have read about new stuff about iGoogle then find them to be very cool. You see I have a very highly customized search engine on my browser with my blog feeds in the front plus I could check my email without leaving the page at all. As usual Google tools, gadgets can be added and there's a lot of gadget to choose from which I made the choices as shown on the picture.

I am still customizing it, adding a little bit more gadgets. Maybe I am planning to put some comic strips or games on the right side of the page. Whew, Google is really amazing! Making stuff that is totally useful. See my captivating Capiz feeds, they look great on that ocean theme?

My Status for Captivating Capiz

Wooh, its been a while since I made a post on this blog. I've been busy again for the past weeks and this Friday night is my only time to update my blogs. I have seen that my captivating Capiz entry fall on the 2nd place and I don't know if it could hold on to that position. I have seen a lot of activities in Google lately. I see that the indexes rises from 30K from the initial number of entries of 100. People of captivating Capiz and non-resident of this province are really doing their best to populate the world wide web with best information about the said place in the Visayas of the Philippines.

One more week and everything will be concluded. I am still have great hope for this entry that this might win in the end but I have seen that the number one today is really tighting its grip on its current hold. Well I might use grease him down later with the help of my Community of Capiz Travelers Ring.

If I am Palin

If in case I will become Palin, will I run for vice-president or any position in the government? Maybe not! I am nurture by my parents to become a plain woman staying at home taking care of my future children. I'd rather be like that. To become someone who serve her husband. Submit to him. Take care of him and support him in every single way. What will be the life of my children if I will be a politician? Maybe I can't compare the situation of Palin to politicians here in the Philippines. Maybe in US, Palin can stay as a good wife despite her current position. But in my case, it seems that the culture and traditional outlook about wife's guiding her children at home is still inculcated in every mind of almost traditional family in the country. In my opinion, parents specially the wife should stay looking her children growing and let the man do the working. That's why I will make sure that my future husband can support the family financially and emotionally.

In the economic status of the country, sometimes women can't stay at home looking her husband getting all the batter of hardship of work. That is why I am still open to the idea of still working but I will make sure that I could still get my attention to my children. I believe that there's nothing important than anything else other than my children.

Harrassment How to Deal with It

One of the big problems women encounter when working or even in school, is being a victim of sexual harassment. I am referring for both vocal and action form of harassment. Actually both men and women can be a victim of this form of violating one's right but the usual victims are women. How we should deal with this kind of situation when you encounter it in work. Here are some tips that I have gathered regarding this:

If you're co-employee is always kidding around and you felt violated or harassed, try to talk to him and tell him what you feel. If he still continues with his action try to report him to your HR or supervisor. The problem here is if your boss was the one who is kidding around. Here in the Philippines you just can't rely on the labor department to deal with this situation. You might lose your job if you will file complain about this. You're only choice is to resign and look for another job. You simply leave it!
Don't bring yourself to the situation. Prevention is always better than cure. :)
If you are disappointed with what he have done to you, show it and do not hide your true feelings about it. He will feel that you don't like it so he will realize it eventually and stop what he is doing.

In the latest news about the latest insult got by Pinay DH in a BBC show, Gurlash Mingot of captivating Capiz personally condemn this unfair remarks of this not so funny humor. If Britain got talent, in this show Pinoy got insulted!

Even Pinay DH serve as servants to foreigners, still they have the dignity and the right to be treated as human and not to be insulted by this kind of unfair remarks. These foreigner writers and show makers should understand how we will feel about this. DH works for their family, it is a honorable work despite some of their employers view them as a lowly type of job. They should be responsible with what they are releasing in media.

We live in a small and poor country but we care with our images and dignity. We will not let you insult us! I hope that this treatment change in the future.

PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) announced the end of the La Niña condition that prevails from September 2007 to June 2008. Say goodbye to this opposite of El Niño but welcome another cold season of the year. A season of love and warm feeling of togetherness. I am talking about the Christmas season. It is BER month already and 84 days before this day of love, gifts, bonuses, christmas carols and noche buena.

What does the people of captivating Capiz are doing during this season? What food they are preparing during this time? I just wonder...

In our place, I love the "puto bumbong" and "bibingka" during the "simbang gabi". I wonder if they have these delicacies in their place. I also think of what does the sound of church bell of Panay, Capiz like during this church chore. It is really fun to play with this things in mind. It is exciting!

Captivating Capiz Plans and Irks

All of my captivating Capiz journey and travel plans were all canceled (it is not due to the pathetic loser who keeps on bugging me). It is because I am too busy with my job and my love life at the same time. Maybe it will be push true by the end of the year or worst by next year. I really want to win the captivating Capiz contest but I think I can stand seeing myself humiliated again and again just because of a small amount of money. There are just people who really so dumb enough and not actually doing anything to improve themselves and instead justifying themselves because of their lack of understanding about things.

To whom it may concern - captivating Capiz Contest is just a plain competition and based on what I have read on the different unethical issues raised by different contestants, I have seen that some will really do anything just to win. My advice is that you practice, learn then reach your goal with pride and dignity. I am doing my stuff fair and your incapabilities not to perform well in this captivating Capiz contest is not my fault. I hope you understand what I meant and your feeble-mindedness will be cured by this post.

Wooh, after that blogger downtime I am hoping that my rankings will improve in couple of days for the key phrase "captivating Capiz". I know that this was the reason why I have fallen dramatically and I can accept it. I will definitely rank high for a few days and I will show the captivating people of Capiz how I will reign the world of competition. In the event I can't win the contest, there's no problem at all. As long that I have learned and I have fun with it. That's all that matters to me right now. Of course I want to win but if that was Google can provide well, let it be.

It's funny because I have seen how other people are doing with their entries on the captivating Capiz competition and I can't believe it that this is how they response to this kind of call of promoting a province. This blog that is intended for the captivating Capiz will be unavailable this 4:00 P.M. Pacific Time due the scheduled 10 minutes maintenance of Blogger. Definitely my ranking on Google for the key phrase "captivating Capiz" will be surely down by the end of this week. Which as of this morning when I checked it, it down about 5 feet (exagerration) from the list of entries for the competition that I am participating about the province of Capiz.

So I can't do about this imminent and unavoidable that happens to me. :(

Captivating Capiz Blessed by BayaniJuan

When I watched the news yesterday, I have seen that Roxas City of the captivating Capiz was visited by ABS-CBN's BayaniJuan. Why? To feed the malnutrition children of the province. According to Bernadeth Sembrano, Roxas City, Capiz is one of the most progressive city of the Visayas but despite this the province is not excluded from cases of children who is suffering from malnutrition. Through this feeding program of ABS-CBN, many children from the captivating Capiz were benefited and many parents were educated on proper food to be prepared for their children to acquire the appropriate nutrition.

Malnutrition in the Philippines is one of the problem that the country is facing and with this noble deeds of this people this will at least help fellow Filipinos to cope up and survive this kind of problem. Mabuhay to Bayanijuan program and may other people be inspired to do the same heoric act you're doing!

Nina Hits

I am not talking about the singer Nina but I am referring to the tropical storm Nina. She already landed in the Philippines soil yesterday and hitting the eastern part of the country. Nina with an international name "Hagupit" is a strong typhoon but I doesn't feel its strength right now maybe because it only hits the upper area of the country but it started to move west. All I am hoping right now is that it does not hit my place and if in case it hits, please "no brown outs" or "no to offline" of my broadband. I need it badly.

I can't do anything if there's no electricity and I am doing something for the "captivating Capiz" and I must not stop from doing it to achieve the goal that I wished for. But I am positive about the condition of the weather, it seems it will just pass away the country. I wonder how's the weather in Capiz right now and how the sea foods swim on their beaches? My captivating Capiz entry drop dramatically today. It is lost in space and I can't see it anywhere. It seems that I over do it. I thought I could maintain it up to the last moment of time I need it to be visible. Maybe that's life sometimes your at top and sometimes you simply does not exists to anyone.

That's why I decided to create a new blog about the captivating Capiz and I use Wordpress for that purpose. I am shocked right now and very excited of the result on searching captivating Capiz in Google.com. When I search it last night I've seen that one of my post ranked number 1. Does this mean that Google loves my post so much that he given me a chance to be at the top? Or that proves my theories about search engines? The theory that I am referring to is that search engines specially Google, loves post of pretty ladies like me for the captivating Capiz. :D

I have been busy for several days and I was not able to update my blog regarding the captivating Capiz. It seems that my job right now eat my time very much. I have a Dream

Last night I have a dream that I will be recognized to be the first woman to beat other man in promoting the captivating Capiz in the Philippines. This dream is seems so real because I see how search engines read every single word I made and how men wow on my performance. Then I wake up and realized that it was just a dream. Capiz Festivals

What so special with "captivating Capiz" is its festivals. Every year the province of Capiz celebrates the Sinadya sa Halaran, a festival that usually happens in December. They also have this food festival called "Diwal Festival".

From the history of Capiz, this festival commerates the rich culture and tradition of the captivating place. Colorful parade and fascinating fireworks are some of the highlights of this event. This year Capiz will celebrate their festivities with, "I am sure", another "big bang!"

Captivating Capiz Update 10/2008.

Howdie everyone! This is mingot's blog. This is my first ever blog in my life and I am a wanderer of world's most fascinating and enchanting province in the Philippines, called the "captivating Capiz". The nick "mingot" means always annoyed or disgusted or exasperated in English. Nah, it doesn't mean that I am like that but sometimes they (my friends in Capiz) just always tease me that word because I always get annoyed when they are discussing about not so nice things and other bad things in Capiz.

I really love the captivating province of Capiz and I just can't accept that people are insulting its name. Maybe you're saying that I am so exaggerated with how I react with this simple tease. No, it is because I am just very connected with the place and I just can't imagine how people are so insensitve about how we native of Capiz were tagged by unfair mark or negative label. That is why I am trying to learn a lot of things about promoting Capiz over the internet. I will announce through out the Philippines and even in the whole wide world and even the universe, that our government is not wrong in describing the province as the "captivating Capiz". With this blog, I will prove to the world the reality of announcing the place as how the phrase is saying.

I hope Capizeño's all over the world see this effort that mingot is exerting in making the province popular through out every corner of the continent. Aside from being a captivating province, pretty faces are all over the place that includes me.

Captivating Capiz, I just love being here with you and wander around different tourists spots! :D

Breaking News!!! I will join the Busby Web Solutions or maybe support the one who supports me during a certain fight. This is one step higher the ladder of success and I think my skill will surely tested by this big competition. Wish me a great luck or lot of karma, I need a tons of it so that I can "carry" this kind of test! :)
